The next day the prince came and

stood at the bottom of the tower and said:

Rapunzel! Rapunzel! Let down your hair

for me! The witch threw down Rapunzel's

hair. When the prince reached the top of the

tower he realized that the witch was in the

tower. "You will never see Rapunzel

again!" yelled the witch.

She took two thorns and stabbed the

prince in his eyes. The prince jumped out of

the tower and ran in to the forest. He could

no longer see and so he walked around in

the forest living off of the plants. One day,

he heard a lovely voice singing and he

immediately recognized it. He had found

Rapunzel!
