Cure the Disease – Not the Symptoms.

A pumping station that was apparently regularly maintained.

Gemtech were asked to assess a pumping station that was being maintained
by others after high bills from numerous breakdowns. The station was in a
shocking state. No contractor could ever claim this was being ‘maintained’.
One pump and its mounting bracket were missing, the level controls did not work
and the pipework was in fact swimming pool pipework.

It was deemed by us and the customer that the equipment was now beyond economical
repair and we quickly and effectively refurbished the pumping station.

A Smoke & Fire Damaged Water Booster Set Supplying A Residential & Holiday Park .

A serious fire in an adjacent building to the booster caused serious damage to the booster set and
controls. Thankfully no-one was injured in the fire. Firefighters managed to stop the blaze before it
destroyed the pumps but the smoke and heat damage was excessive. Gemtech quickly arranged for a
replacement set and installed it with little added disruption to the client.
