Page 14 PHOENIX February 28,1974Get 85Names forGroupThe Com prehensive Health Planning Agency (CHPA) has received approxim ately 85 nominations for the Steering Committee of Planning District %u201c A%u201d , according to William Duffy, a spokesman for the agency, but the names will not be available for publication until they have been %u201c collated and put in an organized form.%u201dIn December, CHPA requested health %u201c consum er%u201d and %u201c provider\which includes Community Planning Districts 2 and 6, to submit the names of persons whom they felt might serve on the Steering Committee, whose job it will be to aid CHPA in the establishment of permanent CHP District Boards.The committee will have from 11 to 25 members, 51 to 60 percent of whom must be consumers. His presence in the District 15 com %u00admunity has included such activities as the Bed Hook Neighborhood Council, the Gowanus Canal Development Committee, the Park Slope-Sunset Park Cabinet and the New York City School Boards Association.District 15 encompasses South Brooklyn, Red Hook, Park Slope, Sunset Park, Gowanus, and Windsor Terrace.The members of the sponsor's committee for the affair are: Sam Azadian, Ruth Burns, Doris Cohen, Kmil Giordano, George Harris, Kleanor Le May, Helen Levine, Lee Liss, Bro. Buddy Scotto, Frank Verderame, Kleanor Weingast, and Eloise Wollack.Methodist is ReaccreditedThe Methodist Hospital has been reaccredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals, according to Vernon Stutzman, Executive Director of the institution. This accreditation is the result of an on-site survey made hv field representatives nf the Joint Commission%u2019s Hospital A ccreditation Program last N ovem ber, 1973. Accreditation indicates that the facility%u2019s goal is to operate according to the high standards set by JCAH and that it has, in the main, met these standards. Mr. Stutzman advised that the recommendations and comments made by the survey team were being studied by appropriate com m ittees.
