The king sets the rules of the challenges, the %u201cthree impossible tasks%u2019%u2019 which must be accomplished in order to win the hand of Princess Clothilda, most winsomely portrayed by Lisa Pucci.Jack Fink gives a fine performance in his role as the dreadful dancing goblin and his %u201cborn to dance%u201d number is one of the high points of the afternoon.Richard Judge and Courtney Sweeting as the Duke of Silge and the Duke of Flapingom, respectively provide a touch of slapstick in their nearly totally ineffectual, clown-like attempts to gain the hand of the princess. The choreography of Gwen Formark and the score by Andi Stryker-Rodda combine with the extremely attractive and well done costumes and set to complete what is certainly one of the most fun-filled and enjoyable afternoons for children in a while.%u201cTinker Tom and the Magical Grannies%u201d will have its final two performances this coming Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21 at 2:30 p.m. at the Heights Players, 26 Willow Place. An evening of Polish composers, the finai concert in the Brooklyn Philharmonia%u2019s %u201c Meet the Moderns%u201d series, will be given Saturday, April 27, at 8, in the Music Hall of the Brooklyn Academy of Music.Lukas Foss will conduct and composer Krzysztof Penderecki will be the guest speaker. The concert will feature the Concord String Quartet; violinist Mark Sokol; tenor Jonathan Rigg;a good bookstore -j H ie Community Bookstore of Poric lope |143 7th Avenue 783 3075I----------------------------------------------------------Jim <>n Mem IXH>H TO DOOH SKHVICKH e ig h t s C a r & L im o u s i n e S e r v ic e I n c .l.nr d urn! lonii 1 kstuiivi' (nilsZone Flat Rates(Il%u2019KN 21 111H US TKL .*22-7222Scotto Fu neral H om e106 First Place Brooklyn, N.Y.Salvatore Buddy Scotto, President TR 5-2515New Enlarged QuartersGold Palace118 Court StreetJew elry - Ceramics - Gifts - CosmeticsPerfume - AppliancesSpecial Opening Value %u25a0 14 kt. goldhoroscope earrings for $9.95C o m e help us celebrate!in o o J f f f f w o n u.'ff ZZJSth ZffZZZZ* j w * i n * * p v i v i m %u00ab %u00ab *%u2022%u25a0%u25a0%u2022**>I%u00ae,*.%u00ab*,*%Jthe Long Island Symphonic Choir, Gregg Smith, director; and the New Jersey Percussion Ensemble, Ray DesRoche, director.
