Goldin says. Taxrevenues are expected to grow by 9.9% overthe full fiscal year.Economically sensitive taxes increased12.3% over the same three month period infiscal year 1986. Those taxes, on sales, personal income, general and financial corporations and unincorporated businesses,are forecast to grow by 11.5% over the fullyear.While first quarter results show improvedoverall growth rates compared to the weakrevenues of recent months, certain taxescontinue to grow at lower than plannedlevels. Hie largest of these, the personal income tax, grew at 9.1%. The program applies to industrialand commercial firms that qualify by completing eligible relocations, renovations, orby leasing facilities on eligible properties.Since the inception of the program in 1985,the ECSP has approved benefits to 111firms, helping to retain more than 6,348 jobsand create an estimated 1,187 new jobs inNew York City, says Grayson.LIU Is CORPLong Island University is one of 24 colleges and universities that have beenselected to participate in Corporate Orientation Program (CORP), a program intended,according to its sponsor, to help sophomorelevel minority students learn how to succeed in the corporate world.
