N ^ DPARTS REMOVER: Anibil Velasquez, 16, from 23rd St. and a 15-year-old Hispanic male accomplice were found removing parts Oct. 2 from a 1986 Pontiac that was reported stolen in the 1st Precinct. Police Officer Gordon of the 78th Precinct came across the two teenagers opposite 12913th St. at 12:30pm andarrpQtpri thpmGROCERY THIEF: Robert Thomas, 38, from the Bronx, was seen stealing combs and other grocery items from the Fifth Ave. Key Food store on Oct. 1 at 11am. He was arrested by Police Officer Vitale of the 78th Precinct and charged with petty larceny.BURGLAR CAUGHT: Felix Mendina, 29, allegedly entered an apartment a t 221 Fifth Ave. on Sept. 30 at 1:30pm by kicking in one of the door panels. Police say he tried to remove a black & white television set when he was arrested by Police Officer Walsh of the 78th Precinct.PURSE GRABBED: A 19-year-old woman and some friends were walking down Washington Ave. between DeKalb and Lafayette Aves. at 8:55pm on Sept. 27, when they were approached by two men. One, described as black, around 18,5%u2019 11%u201d and 160 pounds with short black hair, grabbed her purse. His accomplice, described as around 17-18, black, 5%u2019 7%u201d , 140 pounds with a moustache, knocked her down and took her bag. Both fled toward Lafayette Ave.ROBBERY AND ASSAULT: A 24-year-old man was walking on the northbound platform at the Fulton Street GG subway station at 7:30pm on Sept. 26, when two males approached him and asked him what time it was. One of the muggers, described by police as 15-16, black, 5%u2019 10%u201d , 160 pounds, wearing a dark blue t-shirt with %u201cBill Blass%u201d written on it, and blue jeans with %u201cNFD%u201d written on them, grabbed him from behind and held, while the other, described as being 16-20, black, 5%u2019 10%u201d , 145 pounds, with short, black hair, pulled out a straight razor knife and removed his property. There was a struggle, in which the victim was cut on the right leg. The two perpetrators fled with the man%u2019s property: a yellow metal watch with a tan band, a brown wallet, $78 in cash, and miscellaneous credit cards and papers.ALONG WASHINGTON PARK: A 28-yearold woman was walking toward DeKalb Ave. in Washington Park with a male friend at 11:30pm on Sept. 28, when two men, both described by police as being 25 years old, black, 5%u2019 11%u201d , 180 pounds, with short, black hair, approached. One of the men had his hand in his pocket, said he had a gun, and said to the woman %u201cYou%u2019re dead.%u201d He grabbed her, and she said she had no money. He asked her friend where his money was, and the man told them it was in his pocket. They ripped his pocket open, took a tan wallet containing $30, miscellaneous papers, and fled into the park.DOUBLE THREAT: A 59-year old manwalking at Court and Montague Streets on Sept. 30 at 9:25am was approached by two men, one who put a knife to the victim%u2019s stomach and one who put a gun to his back. The man with the gun demanded his money and when he complied the second man punched him in the stomach. The two escaped with $600 in cash and $1,000 in jewelry.FIVE ROB: Five males, two of whom wielded knives approached a 34-year old man as he entered the vestibule of his home on Dean St. between Bond and Nevins on Sept. 27 at 9:15pm and demanded his money after threatening him with the knives. The victim handed them his wallet and the five fled with $12. They dropped the wallet in a backyard.GROUP ATTACK: A 40-year old man riding in the last car of the subway at the Borough Hall station on Sept. 27 at 1:50pm was approached by a group of 15 teenagers who punched and kicked and then robbed him of $25.PARKING LOT: A 22-year old parking lot attendant at 300 Livingston St. was confronted by a man with a gun on Sept. 26 at 3am who told him to open the safe. When the man said he could not, the perpetrator went through his desk and removed all currency. He escaped with $56.SHOES TAKEN: Along with $950 in cash and valuables, a man lost his $30 penny loafers to a gang of five black males. First pushed against the wall, near the comer of Union and Hoyt Streets on Sept. 30 at 7pm, he was checked while thieves held two knives at his neck and the others went for his valuables.CON GAME SUCCEEDS: A 22-year-old woman, after resisting the ploys of her two middle-aged hispanic assailants, was forced at gunpoint into a nearby bank, withdrew $1,300 and handed it over to the robbers on the comer of Atlantic and Court Streets on Oct. 1 at 7:15pm, where they took off in a large gray car. The man with the gun was about 5%u2019 7%u201d, heavyset, and spoke with a Venezuelan accent. The second, who toted the switchblade, was 5%u2019 6%u201d and slim, speaking with a Columbian accent.BURGLARY FAILS: Marvin McBeth, 40, of Baltic St. and Patricia Haggard, 36, of Lorraine St. were arrested September 29 at 8:30pm by officer Michael Kane of the 76th Precinct as they attempted to burglarize an apartment on Court St. between President and Carroll.DRUG STORE HEIST: First asking for medicine, then coming behind the counter with knife in hand, a 5%u2019 10%u201d , 200 lb. white man forced the druggist to kneel down as he robbed the register of the Clinton and Carroll St. store. When a woman entered the store, the long-haired burglar held her at knifepoint, took her wallet, and demanded the drug Dilaudid be prepared for him.
