Hospital Finalizes Plan For Parking GarageConstruction on Phnso II of Lon\College Hospital%u2019s $140 million renovation project is not expected to be completed for three years, but in the meantime, hospital officials are now finalizing plans for a parking garage and another building.Last year, the hospital announced that it was negotiating to build the garage on part of what is now Van Voothees Park. Tom Dugan, spokesperson for the hospital, says the parking facility is still under discussion and nothing has yet been finalized.%u201cThere has to be some kind of parking facility, but at this point everything is still onK o / v l r K u w n r o n / J n ^ f L i n r t c n a n i f i n o K n n fW M W l t M t U U V t U U U k / J / V V U l V W W W M l,the parking garage has been decided,%u201d he says.A second building on Henry St. is also scheduled to be completed. For the moment, the hospital is consumed with the renovations and extensions of the Fuller Building. Dugan says the new facilities will include a larger reception area and will centralize hospital admissions in one place. The first floor is scheduled to open next year, but the total project will not be completed until the spring, 1990. %u2014 R.T.CHAIN NABBER: On Nov. 25, in front of 688 Union St. at 9:30pm, a 25-year-old female was allegedly approached from behind by Andrea Williams, 20, from Wolcott St. Williams drew a 25-cal. automatic pistol and tried to pull a gold chain from the victim%u2019s neck. Police Officer Mantzareas was on hand and arrested Williams.FROM HIS POCKETS: An 81-year-old man was allegedly approached by Tammy Brown, 19, from Maple St., while he was standing in front of 224 3rd Ave. on Nov. 25 at 4:40pm. Brown asked the man to buy a sandwich for her, but he refused. Brown then put her hands in his pockets and took $60 cash. The man injured his right hand in a struggle that followed before PO Comodo arrived and arrested BrownON THE SUBWAY: While waiting for the D train Nov. 22 at 2pm at the Atlantic Ave. station, a 22-year-old man was allegedly grabbed at the collar by Lewis Batts, 25, of W. 32nd St. Batts demanded the man%u2019s money, but the victim refused. So Batts started punching him before jumping on the southbound train. The victim pursued Batts onto the train and Transit Police Officer Esposito subdued Batts at 7th Ave. Station.RADIO TAKEN: On Nov. 22, at 9:25pm, a 12-year-old boy was waiting for a subway train at the 4th Ave. and 9th St. station, when four men approached him and took his radio. The boy summoned Transit Officer Sharp, who was able to apprehend two of the alleged assailants, Tony Perez, 16, from 7th St., and Julio Colon, 20, from 7th St. Two others got away.ATEMPTED MURDER: On Nov. 23 at 7pm, two men were in an apartment in 90 Vanderbilt Ave., when two oilier men broke in. The first, described by police as Hispanic, 20,5%u2019 9%u201d, 145 pounds with medium length curly dark hair, held a gun to one of the victims, and told his accomplice to shoot the other. His accomplice, described as black, 20, 5%u2019 9%u201d , 145 pounds with short black hair, fired and hit the other man. The two left the apartment, with the black man firing two shots as they left without hitting anyone. The wounded man was taken to Brooklyn Hospital.WOULDN%u2019T GIVE RIDE: A 21-year-old man was riding his motorcycle in the park at Navy St. and Park Ave. on Nov. 13 at 3:20pm, and stopped when approached by a man described by police as black, 16 years old, 5%u2019 7%u201d , 155 pounds, and having two gold teeth. The man asked the rider for a ride, and was refused. The man walked his motorcycle away, and the other pulled a gun and fired two shots, missing his intended victim.HIT AND ROBBED: A 29-year-old man was hit on the back of the head with a bottle and robbed on Nov. 20 at 11:15pm. He was on the comer of Adelphi St. and Myrtle Ave. when he was struck, and a man described as black, 28-30 years old, 5%u2019 7%u201d with black hair, said %u201cI want your money%u201d and reached into the m an%u2019s pocket, removing a wallet containing $15.ELEVATOR ROBBERY: A 17-year-old woman riding the elevator at 32 Court St. on Nov. 24 at 9:20pm was robbed by two men, one of whom pushed her to the floor and pointed a gun at her. They removed a brown paper bag from her that contained $3,000.WOMAN TAKES BIKE: A boy, 12, was robbed of his bike after a woman approached him and requested to ride it on Nov. 22 at 5pm near the comer of Dean and Hoyt Sts. When the boy refused to let the woman ride the bike, she pushed him away and when he held onto the handlebars she pulled out a razor blade and told him to let go or she would slash him. She escaped with the bike.SUBWAY ROBBER: A 58-year-old man was robbed by two men while he was on board the IRT subway on Nov. 20 at 5:12pm. The victim began to struggle with one of the men and they both detrained at Borough Hall where they continued to struggle. No police were on the scene and the man fled with $22.SHOPLIFTING ATTEMPT: Maria Moore, 31, of 285 E. 91st St. was arrested on Nov. 20 at 5:20pm after she attempted to shoplift $40 worth of perfume, cosmetics and tooth paste from a drug store at 168 Montague St. She bit a store worker who tried to stop her, causing injury. P.O.
