He started writing for large ensembles and put together a 15 to 20 piece band. He also put together Eastman Productions, a music company that did studio work and commercials for radio stations.The concert on December 13 to celebrate the relase of %u201cMy Real Self,%u201d the Center%u2019s second self-produced album (the first is Contemporary Composers Orchestra, Volume 1), will feature Joe Ford and Zane Massey on saxophones, Marsha Frazier on piano and flute, Sumi Tonooka, piano, Newman Baker and Nasar Abadey on drums, Frank London, trumpet, Robin Eubanks, trombone and Eastman on bass and guitar. The new season%u2019s lineup of concerts includes Roland Alexander onJanuary 18, Zane Massey on January 25 and Andy Bey on February 1.In between shows, the All Stars will continue their Sunday jam sessionperformances. The Center also exhibits works by Brooklyn painters and is looking for dancers to utilize the beautiful new floor. They%u2019re seeking someone %u201cwho thinks they have the next wave of jazz dancing to live music under their belt.
