About Dora and Diego—Let’s Explore!
Nickelodeon’s animated series Dora the Explorer follows the adventures of the 7-year-old Latina heroine Dora
and her friends in an imaginative, tropical world. The series Go, Diego, Go! stars Dora’s 8-year-old cousin Diego, a
bilingual animal rescuer who protects animals and their environment.
The exhibit Dora and Diego—Let’s Explore! carries the series’ themes into an interactive experience. Favorite
places and elements from episodes of Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go! are featured, such as:
Rocket Ship Pirate Ship
Preschoolers pilot the ship and help Dora and Boots Sail the high seas with the Pirate Piggies’ ship and divvy
take their friends home to the Purple Planet. up the treasure!
Constellations Tico’s Tree and Car
Dora and Boots find star groupings on the way Tico the squirrel’s car is in need of fuel! Visitors can fill
to the Purple Planet. Insert puzzle pieces to light up Tico’s car with nuts so he can begin his journey.
