won super gold at the World Cheese Awards in
London, making it one of the top 60 cheeses.
Their Echo Mountain Blue was also honored
with a bronze medal. The World Cheese Awards
is the largest and most respected competition
of its type in the world. There were 250 judges
who gathered to taste and score more than 2700
cheeses from 33 different countries.

Health care is one of the fastest growing job sectors
in the Rogue Valley. Rogue Community College
is planning an expansion of its health science and
health care programs and facilities. Asante has
pledged $250,000 over the next three years to help
support these additional training opportunities.
The Asante donation will be matched by the state
of Oregon for a total of $500,000.
