         With 30+ years in the food and beverage manufacturing markets, I am Haskell’s first
         Strategic Industry Advisor (SIA). My career began in the Alaskan salmon industry, where
         I shifted from chemistry to food manufacturing. I’ve held key roles in food and beverage
         manufacturing companies, from shift supervisor to plant manager, COO, and President.
         As a Certified Food Scientist (CFS) and Haskell’s Director of Food Safety, I apply my
         expertise to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance across industries.


         My insight into cleanliness and safety standards, particularly in sectors like dairy,
         and my experience as both a client and with firms like Haskell, allows me to
         provide effective guidance on best practices and compliance. By understanding
         the owner’s perspective and viewing projects through the operations lens,
         I inherently incorporate food safety into every aspect of my approach.


         My approach to food safety comes from a combination of education and many
         years of facility leadership in high-regulatory environments. I have interacted
         regularly with various levels of regulatory compliance officers through normal
         courses of business and have led several novel manufacturing approaches
         where regulatory approval was required. I have led teams at companies
         like HEB Grocery, HP Hood, and Richmond Baking. I also bring expertise in
         business development and strategic advising, creating tailored solutions and
         fostering strong relationships with clients at every stage of their journey.
