The work we are doing at YASH is more relevant than ever today. With the NeXT normal here, we can look for-
ward to working further on the many initiatives to deliver the best services and technology, outstanding
customer experience, and amazing content. I want to thank you for your continued commitment and effort.
Every one of us has a key role to play in the work ahead and I am confident that together we will achieve
great things.
Like no other time in our world’s history, when we need more than ever to come together, we are being asked
to keep our distance. And while some of us are at work, some of us are working from home, but we are still
together. Our shared experiences, fears, adaptations, and inspirations around the future of work bring us
closer and help us navigate. Beyond shared experiences, our values as a global organization unite us to-
gether with a collective spirit – ensuring our minds, our thoughts and our actions are on the same page,
even if we are not in the same room.
We protect what matters most, and throughout this crisis in partnership with our clients, we have delivered
continuous support for the customers we serve. It is not – nor has it ever been – one person or one team that
gets it done. We have rallied across YASHians everywhere to support each other in quickly activating our
business continuity plans to safeguard our associates and protect our operations. Despite the challenges
the world has brought, we are continuing to deliver.
The future of work only underscores how much we rely on each other. How important it is to stay connected
and how responsible we are to the communities where we live. Together, we are united with a common re-
solve that no physical distance can weaken. It remains to be seen which of these emergent trends will be
temporary, and which will become permanent as organizations balance the next normal with new avenues
of capital generation, evolving technology, and shifting societal expectations.
My daughter too has been an unexpected source of
strength. At the tender age of 9, she has understood
[
and accepted the loss of her father and is handling
the change of having a working mom and no father,
very maturely for her age.
Yes, the realization that my husband who had so
many dreams of his own, and who had constantly
supported my dreams and my daughter’s wishes,
was now gone forever, is something that still hasn’t
sunk in. And I suppose I will never really understand
how someone can just vanish from your life – even
though the evidence of the life they once lived is all
around you. But I know there are plenty of others who
are going through similar periods of distress, and I
want you to know that you are not alone in your grief.
I have been through the worst of times and come out
stronger through all the pain. I want to emphasize
that being financially independent and strong is the
most important thing for a woman in this day and
age. Time can change at any moment, and you never
know what Is going to happen. It is important to live
every moment as your last and give your very best to
succeed in your career and live a happy life with your
loved ones.
People tell me I should be strong and should live for
my daughter, but I want to live for myself too and one
of the ways I can do that is by working and taking
care of our needs. I had to channel my pain some-
where, somehow and YASH has helped me clear my
thoughts around my heartbreak and channel it into a
positive story. Sometimes, I cry. Sometimes, I wonder
why this happened and the sheer unfairness of it all.
And then, I get back to work.
From the recruitment process till the onboarding and
