Because I anticipated her departure, I did not panic. I immediately contacted the accountant (who isalso a good long-term friend of mine) I met during my vacation in July 2019, knowing she was lookingfor new opportunities. After our discussions that summer, I knew instantly that she was the perfectprofile for this position, and that I would hire her very soon. It was only a matter of time. The day Ireceived our previous accountant%u2019s resignation letter, I sent a text message to this accountant friendof mine and asked her if she was ready to come on board. She jumped at the opportunity and for thenext four months, she evolved as our administrative and accounting manager and became an integralpart of our growing team. I have many other incredible stories as different as one another that couldtestify that my gut is always right.Who has been/is your inspiration?The person who has really inspired me is Rosa Parks. Racial segregation in the United States was hell!The day she refused to give up her seat on the bus, she did not only change her own story that shewas willing to accept %u2013 she changed the story of thousands, if not millions of African Americans. Itwas the battle of a simple, ordinary woman with extraordinary courage against a nation, and shewon. When I reflect on her story, this woman could have been killed that day. She was ready tosacrifice her life for freedom and justice. When I read her story, I realized that no change is possiblewithout a solid, unwavering decision; and there is no freedom without sacrifice. You have to be readyto pay the price if you really want to see things change. Rosa Parks was a history maker. By heraction she inspired me and the women, men, children of this unjust world to stand with courage forwhat they believe and to never betray their values.What are the teachings that helped you the most in your career?I learned that when you have to make an important decision (partnership, deals, hiring, investmentsetc..) be certain that your decisions and choices always respect and are aligned with your corevalues.There was a situation when we were about to enter a partnership with another company. Theidea was brilliant, the relationship was good, and the negotiation went well. Unfortunately, beforesigning the contract an incident came up and highlighted one of the conditions that went against ourvalues - which is integrity. We decided to halt the partnership immediately.Our core values, whetherpersonal or professional, are our backbone, our foundations. We must never compromise thesevalues for any reason. If you do it, you betray and disrespect yourself.Maximize your profits. Whenwe started this Business coaching company, we did not invest any money on websites, marketing orbusiness cards, etc. We had none of that, yet we went from zero to 5.2 million euros of profits in just18 months. We focused on increasing our profit and investing in people first before building thesystem. Money amplifies your true character. It reveals who you truly are, your heart, intention andyour motivation.What gives your life meaning?I remember the day I was a speaker at a seminar in July 2019. It was the last day of a 3-day seminarfor entrepreneurs. That afternoon, I felt the need to ask everybody to stand up with their fists raisedand to picture their why and to commit 100% to their vision and to their goal. The moment I beganto deliver my message, I felt a burning fire in my gut, and then the audience began to cry and shoutwith passion.I then spoke to each entrepreneur in the audience with a very specific and personalmessage. The words originated from my gut to my mouth as I delivered this message. The room wascrying and most of them were really surprised because my words were precisely describing theirlives.When I am on stage edifying people, I feel so alive, and I know I am in the right place doing theright things. I insist on the words edify because it means: to instruct someone in a way thatenlightens them, uplifts and transforms them morally, spiritually or intellectually.I feel like a volcanowhen I speak, edify, inspire, or encourage.
