Article I – Name
This organization will be known as “The Spirit Gathering, Inc.”, and will function as National
Headquarters, a Central Organization for the Member Churches that will be Chartered by this
Organization. The life of this corporation is perpetual.
Article II – Corporate Seal
The Corporate Seal shall be circular in form and contain the Church Logo of a Dove carrying an olive branch
surrounded by the words “The Spirit Gathering”, and the date and State of incorporation. The Secretary of the
Organization shall be Custodian of the Seal, affixing it to all certificates, charters and other legal and religious forms.
The Member Churches’ Seal shall be the same, but shall carry its own name, and the logo will be optional.
Article III – Purpose
The Purpose of this Organization is as follows:
1. The purpose for this Organization, is to provide interfaith Church Services to the public at large without
discrimination; to provide the structure to practice, demonstrate and teach the Spiritual Truths which express
the Divine Unity with Love, Order, Justice and Compassion, as revealed in all Sacred Scriptures, and
manifested in the life of all the Holy Avatars and teachers of the Ages; and to provide a place for the
Advancement of Metaphysical and Holistic studies and Practices.
2. This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable (educational, religious, scientific) purposes within
the meaning of section 501 © (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future
federal tax code.
3. No part of the net earnings of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to its
members, trustees, officers, or other private persons, except that the corporation shall be authorized and
empowered to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make payments and distributions in
furtherance of the exempt purposes set forth herein.
4. No substantial part of the activities of the corporation shall be the carrying on of propaganda, or otherwise
attempting to influence legislation, and the corporation shall not participate in, or intervene in (including the
publishing or distribution of statements) any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate
for public office.
5. Notwithstanding any other provision of these articles, the corporation shall not carry on any other activities
not permitted to be carried on (a) by an organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3)
of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code, or (b) by an
organization contributions to which are deductible under section 170 (c) (2) of the Internal Revenue code, or
the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
