2. National Headquarters will receive 2% of all revenues collected by Member Churches no later than the 10 th
of the month for the previous month..
3. National Headquarters will receive a Financial Report from the Treasurers of the Member Churches by the

10 of the month for the previous month.
4. National Headquarters will provide the Member Churches with the information needed to do lawful business.
5. Member Churches making application for a charter will be responsible for the registration fees and any other
fees incurred to charter this Member Church.
6. The Fiscal Years will be January 1 to December 31.
7. No part of the net earnings of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to its members,
trustees, officers, or other private persons, except that the corporation shall be authorized and empowered
to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make payments and distributions in
furtherance of the exempt purposes set forth herein.
8. No substantial part of the activities of the corporation shall be the carrying on of propaganda, or otherwise
attempting to influence legislation, and the corporation shall not participate in, or intervene in (including the
publishing or distribution of statements) any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate
for public office.
Article XVI– Charters For Member Churches
Application Procedures for a Charter by this Organization for Member Churches is as follows:
1. An individual or a group will request a copy of the Constitution, By-laws and Application Form for
Charter of Member Church from National Headquarters.
2. Upon acceptance of the Constitutional Regulations and agreement for compliance with the
Constitution and Member Churches Responsibilities, the Application is filled out and submitted to
National Headquarters with the current Application Fee which will be determined by the Board of
Directors of National Headquarters.
3. The Application Fee will include the Charter, Certificate of Incorporation by the State doing
business in, the Corporate Seal, a FEIN Number (Federal Employer Identification Number is
required regardless of whether or not there are paid employees of the Corporation) NJ Sales &
Use Tax Exemption, and a letter of inclusion in the Group Tax Exemption Status.
4. The Member Churches’ Name should end with the designator “at The Spirit Gathering, Inc.
(Example: Church of Divine Light at The Spirit Gathering; but it is not mandatory.
5. National Headquarters will provide Certificates of Ordination or Sanction, Marriage, Baptism or
Initiation Rites at a nominal fee.
6. National Headquarters will maintain Membership Roster for each Member Church.
7. National Headquarters will maintain Roster of Ordained Clergy for each Member Church.
8. National Headquarters will maintain Roster of All Marriages and Baptisms of each Member
Church.
9. Member Churches will submit a copy of their By-laws when adopted, and each time there are
changes made to the By-laws. This will submitted by the 10 th of the month for the previous
month’s Board Meeting in which the laws were voted on.
