acknowledged holidays include:

X New Year’s Day (January 1)

X Memorial Day (last Monday in May)
X 4th of July (the legal holiday)

X Labor Day (irst Monday in September)

X Thanksgiving Day (last Thursday in November)
X Christmas Day (December 25)

X Personal Day*

Holidays And Paid Time Off

Due to the demands of scheduling, an employee may be required to
work on a given holiday. If an employee must work on a holiday, they
will be compensated at two times their straight time hourly rate for
all hours worked, provided they worked their entire last scheduled
workday before the holiday and their entire irst scheduled workday
after a holiday.

Holiday pay will not be considered hours worked for the purposes of
computing overtime.

Any employee who is absent from regularly-scheduled duties on a
holiday will not be paid for the holiday. If a full-time employee has a
paid scheduled day off other than the actual holiday, they must work
their last entire scheduled day before the paid day off, their irst entire

scheduled day after the paid day off and the actual holiday (if posted to
work) to receive holiday pay.

* You are eligible for holiday pay upon being hired however you are not eligible for a
personal day until you have completed 90 days of employment. It cannot be carried
forward from one calendar year to the next.
