Short Term Disability Insurance
Have you considered what would happen if you couldn’t go to work as a
result of a disabling illness or accident? Disability insurance goes to work
when you can’t.
Group Short Term Disability
If you’re unable to work due to a sickness or injury, group disability
insurance can help you maintain your standard of living. By replacing
a portion of your income, group disability insurance can help provide
inancial security until you get back on your feet and return to work. You
may enroll for group disability coverage through OneAmerica. The plan
covers 60% of your pre-disability earnings up to $6,000 per month for a
maximum of three months or six months. The cost of the plan is paid
on a post-tax basis so beneits will be paid tax-free. You will be subject to

Disability beneits are subject to applicable taxes and are ofset by any other income or
disability beneits you receive (or are eligible to receive), such as Social Security and worker’s
compensation.
