How to Open a HSA at Busey
Go online to Busey.com > Apply Online > Checking Accounts
You’ll need your Social Security Number, driver’s license number,
email address, etc.
Mark if you want to receive a HSA debit card
If you want to name your spouse as a P.O.A. on your HSA account,
please note that in the comment section
You will receive a call from Busey Customer Care to complete the
opening of your HSA account
You will receive your debit card in 7-10 days
You will then call to activate your card and set your PIN
What If I Want to Roll My HSA Over to Busey From a
Different Bank?
You do not have to roll over your HSA. However, if you would like to
move your funds to Busey, please contact Busey Human Resources. Busey
does not charge rollover fees when moving your account. The IRS limits
rollovers to once every 12 months.
