ELECTING YOUR 2021 BENEFITS
If you are making a change to your current benefit plan or coverage level please complete the
enclosed 2021 Open Enrollment Election Form, at the back of this guide, and return it to the
Human Resources Benefits Department postmarked by November 20, 2020. We have enclosed a
return envelope for your convenience.
State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)
SHIP is a free health benefits counseling service for Medicare beneficiaries and their families or
caregivers. SHIP’s mission is to educate, advocate, counsel and empower people to make informed
healthcare benefit decisions. SHIP is an independent program funded by Federal agencies and is
not affiliated with the insurance industry.
SHIP provides free help to Medicare beneficiaries who have questions or issues with their health
insurance. You can call a counselor or attend a workshop/presentation in your area.
