His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said, through his
official account on the “X” platform, yesterday: “I reviewed the annual report on the
achievements of the Supreme Legislation Committee in Dubai for the year 2023, where
386 local legislations were completed and the committee contributed to the state
concluding 35 treaties.” And an agreement, in addition to contributing to the completion
of 114 federal legislations, and the year 2023 witnessed the achievement of the target
percentage of legislative compliance for government agencies and the completion of the
project to develop the digital platform for Dubai legislation, which will advance the
legislative work in Dubai to the best international practices.

His Highness added: “I directed the committee to complete an integrated framework
project to measure legislative impact and launch a legislative drafting diploma with the
aim of achieving leadership in legislative work in the emirate.”

His Highness stressed: “In Dubai, we seek to provide flexible and advanced legislative
frameworks that keep pace with the requirements of the future, with the aim of
supporting Dubai’s development process, so that Dubai becomes the best destination in
the world for economy, business, and quality of life.”

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al
