Ajman University Receives ICANN Grant To Develop

Innovative Global Internet Security System

securing an international grant of US$410,300 from the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

This funding will support the creation of a pioneering system to archive and analyse global data related to Domain Name

System Security Extensions (DNSSEC), a crucial cybersecurity protocol that protects Internet infrastructure.

The project aims to develop a platform that operates around the clock, analysing historical DNSSEC data. It will identify
vulnerabilities and highlight gaps in its global implementation. This innovative system will provide diagnostic tools with

visual analysis, aiding in the worldwide adoption of DNSSEC. Ajman University is the only institution in the Middle East to

receive this grant, standing out among 247 global applicants.
