Ajman University is one of just 23 entities selected globally, including three from Asia. Among these, AU is one of only five

universities worldwide to receive the award. This achievement underscores AU's ability to compete internationally in fields

like cybersecurity and Internet governance. The grant also enhances AU’s status as a U.S.-equivalent charitable
organisation, opening doors for further international funding.

Research and Technological Advancements

The project will significantly boost AU’s research infrastructure by developing a passive system to collect and analyse

DNSSEC data. This initiative will increase AU’s visibility as the global Internet community begins using the platform.

Additionally, a high-tech hardware lab will be established on campus, enhancing AU’s capacity for applied research in
digital infrastructure.
