Interactive sessions and practical applications
During the forum, the Miqyas Al Dhad team conducted a virtual session titled “Miqyas Al Dhad:
Teaching Arabic through reading standards”, presented by Eyad Darawsha. The session explored
the application of modern reading standards in Arabic instruction, using scientific assessment
tools to determine literacy levels, design customised learning programmes, analyse common
errors, and create remedial plans.
Dr Hanan Al Khalifa, Executive Academic Director of Miqyas Al Dhad, also participated in a panel
discussion titled “Strategies in Service of Arabic Education”, where participants reviewed modern
pedagogical approaches, including collaborative learning and problem-based learning, supported
by practical examples of successful implementation
