        Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism and Chairman of the GCAA Board, stated that adopting this plan is a significant
        step reflecting the UAE's strong commitment to global climate action. He emphasised that it aligns with ICAO resolutions and showcases the
        country's leadership in sustainability and innovation within the aviation sector.



        "The adoption of the third edition of the UAE State Action Plan is a significant step that reflects the UAE’s firm and impactful commitment to global
        climate action," said Al Marri. "The aviation sector is undergoing a major transformation towards a more sustainable future."
























        Pathway to Sustainability



        Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the GCAA, highlighted that this updated National Action Plan represents collective efforts within the
        UAE aviation sector. It outlines a strategic pathway for reducing emissions through 2050 using tangible projects and advanced policies. This
        underscores the UAE's dedication to supporting ICAO resolutions for sustainable international aviation growth.

        strategic pathway to reduce emissions through 2050 via tangible projects."
