FUGRO’S PARTICIPATION AT COP28:

ADVANCING OCEAN SCIENCE AND

CLIMATE SOLUTIONS

Fugro has announced its joining the “Consortium of Ocean
Sciences” as a partner of the “Oceans Pavilion” within the
COP28 Conference of the Parties to the United Nations
Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be
held in Dubai, from November 30 to December 12. 2023.
This pioneering event will attract delegates and delegations
from all over the world, including heads of state and leaders
in several fields, including research, policy-making and the
business sector, with the aim of reaching a global
consensus and supporting the progress of the commitments
stipulated in the Paris Climate Agreement.

The Oceans Pavilion, hosted by the COP for the second year, is located in the “Blue Zone” designated
for formal negotiations, panels and talks related to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate
