Qatar National Vision 2030

Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV 2030) is a strategic framework aimed at transforming

Qatar into an advanced society capable of sustaining its development and providing its
people with a high standard of living. This vision is built on four pillars: economic,

social, human, and environmental development. A significant part of this vision focuses
on enhancing the logistics sector, which is a key driver for economic diversification and
global competitiveness.

Key objectives

Global logistics hub: By integrating land, sea, and air transportation, Qatar will
position itself as a leading logistics hub in the region and globally.

Economic diversification: Enhance the logistics sector’s contribution to the national

GDP, supporting broader economic diversification goals.

Sustainability: Implement sustainable and innovative logistics solutions that align with

Qatar’s environmental and economic goals.

Key initiatives

Qatar Freight Master Plan (QFMP): This plan aims to develop an integrated and

efficient ground freight system. It includes policies and projects to enhance
infrastructure, improve safety and security, and increase the efficiency of land freight

operations. The QFMP supports the broader economic diversification and sustainable

development goals under QNV 2030.
