Exclusive: SOL CEO Reveals AESG As MEP Consultant For Landmark Fairmont Project In Dubai - MEP Middle East
Moreover, another challenge is the large and tall steel structure canopy over the
rooftop. We plan to assign this complex work to well-experienced steel companies in
        the UAE.

What technologies and equipment will be utilised to enhance
project efficiency in terms of time, cost, and quality?

We are implementing various strategies to enhance project performance, quality,
efficiency, and cost savings. Our construction process will be streamlined through the
use of automatic climbing system formwork, which will significantly lower labour time
and increase safety. We also intend to use post-tension slabs, which will lower material
costs and increase structural integrity, as well as prefabricated steel structural
components, allowing for faster on-site assembly, minimising construction time and
        ensuring precision.

Furthermore, we will optimise design, planning, and coordination by integrating
Building Information Modeling (BIM), which lowers errors and enhances project
management. In addition, our sensor-equipped (BMS) and home automation systems
will ensure maximum efficacy in building management and operations, improving
overall quality and minimising operational expenses.

How will sustainability and energy efficiency be taken into

        consideration in the project?

In accordance with the UAE’s Green Agenda 2030, we remain committed to
environmental responsibility and advancing sustainable development by integrating
green building principles and energy-efficient technologies.

The structure integrates passive design techniques, which utilises extensive self-
shading with high-performance glazing, which significantly reduces heat gains. The
building’s engineering system has been designed to reduce electrical loads with high-
efficiency equipment specified throughout. It utilises recovered water to lower potable
water consumption for irrigation, and then the choice of sanitaryware balances the
project’s luxury aspect while minimising the overall load.

Will wastewater and waste materials be recycled, particularly for

        irrigation purposes?”
