In Oman's address to the conference, Nasr Badr Al Busaidi,
Chairman of Oman Post, affirmed that the UPU was founded
on the principle of delivering mail to every person without

discrimination or exclusion. He pointed out that the
Palestinian people are still deprived of this fundamental
               human right.

He stated, "The Palestinian postal service, which is
supposed to be a bridge for communication, has become a
scene of suffering: offices are demolished, workers are
targeted, letters do not arrive, and families wait for news

and medicine. Depriving Palestinians of their mail is
depriving them of the simplest meanings of life and dignity."
He clarified that the strength of the Union lies in its justice
and equality for all peoples, and he called on the
international community and conference members to take a

clear stance that restores the Palestinian postal service's role
as a bridge for communication and hope.

Oman commended the supportive positions shown by the

participants, affirming that these historic resolutions not only
ةءارﻘﻟا ﻊﺿو secure the rights of the Palestinian postal service but also
strengthen the role of the UPU as a UN organization that
guarantees comprehensive postal services and humanitarian

               access.
