Tadweer has established its position as a pioneer in waste management and
driving a sustainable future. The company incorporates state-of-the-art and
modern technologies to ensure successful operations, while supporting Abu
Dhabi’s Environment Vision 2030 and the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 ambitions
               as well.

Commenting on the acquisition, Ahmad Hamad Bin Fahad, CEO of DUBAL
Holding, emphasised the shared goal of fostering sustainable practices. “This
collaboration signifies our dedication to setting new standards in responsible
e-waste management and creating a positive environmental impact,” he said.

               Enviroserve: A journey of sustainability

Stuart Fleming, co-founder and CEO of Enviroserve, expressed optimism
about the company’s future under the stewardship of Tadweer Group and
DUBAL Holding. “Preserving the planet requires forward-thinking approaches
to recycling and waste management. I am confident that this acquisition will
propel Enviroserve’s mission to offer world-class recycling services and
contribute to environmental sustainability,” he commented.

Brian Wilkie, co-founder and chairman of Enviroserve added: “When Stuart
and I founded Enviroserve in 2004, we dreamed of being among the largest
recyclers in the Middle East. That dream came true in 2018 with the opening
of The Recycling Hub in Dubai Industrial City.

“Now, with the nomination last year at COP28 of Enviroserve’s ‘National
Asset’ status and its acquisition by two such excellent organisations, we are
proud to have played an important part in the UAE’s sustainability strategy.”

In other news, Tadweer has initiated closed bidding for Abu Dhabi’s first
greenfield Material Recovery Facility (MRF), which will play a key role in
               fostering a circular economy.

This advanced facility aims to divert municipal solid waste from landfills
through recycling, supporting Abu Dhabi’s ambition to divert 80 per cent of
               waste by 2030.

The MRF will promote local investment and offer job opportunities. It will have
an annual capacity of 1.3 million metric tonnes. It will cover 90,000 square
metres in Al Mafraq Industrial area.
