E-waste management critical to climate goals
Climate change and preserving the planet is becoming increasingly important. With
the rise of dependence on electronics, e-waste has emerged as a critical factor
impacting the climate. “This share acquisition will proactively advance Enviroserve’s
ongoing mission, to offer world-class recycling services and make a positive impact
on the environment,” stated Stuart Fleming, co-founder and CEO of Enviroserve.
Enviroserve has played a crucial role in e-waste management across the Middle East.
In 2018, the company launched The Recycling Hub in Dubai Industrial City,
becoming one the largest recyclers in the Middle East. Moreover, the company
received a nomination last year at COP28 for the national asset status. Enviroserve
has also played a crucial role in advancing the UAE’s sustainability strategy.
