The Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre – Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) has started a
new campaign called "Our Community is Prepared." This campaign follows the announcement of His
Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, who declared 2025 as the
Year of the Community. The campaign is run with help from different government groups to make sure
Abu Dhabi is ready for emergencies. It will teach people about dangers and what they should do in
times of crisis or disaster.

The campaign will reach people in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra. It is part of the government's plan
to make people more responsible, keep everyone safe, protect nature, and make sure future
generations have enough resources.

The first part of the campaign is working with Abu Dhabi Police (ADP), the Abu Dhabi Department of
Energy (DoE), and the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT). The focus is on teaching
people about extreme weather like storms, dust, heavy rain, and floods. It will also share safety tips to
help reduce damage. The goal is to make sure everyone gets correct information so they can
understand the risks and prepare in the best way.

As part of this campaign, people will attend lectures that explain how different types of weather can
affect daily life and public safety. The campaign will also share real-life examples of places that have
handled bad weather well. By spreading this knowledge, the campaign hopes to **bring the
community together and help everyone understand their role** in keeping their families and
