Etihad Water and Electricity has integrated its billing services with WAYN, the
UAE’s national Digital P.O. Box platform, marking a major milestone in digital

transformation and secure communication between utilities and customers.

Dubai — In a major step towards strengthening the UAE’s digital transformation journey, Etihad Water and
Electricity (EtihadWE) announced the successful integration of its customer billing and notification system

with WAYN, the UAE’s official Digital P.O. Box platform, on the sidelines of GITEX Global 2025.

This collaboration makes EtihadWE the first utilities company in the UAE to join the WAYN platform, enabling
the delivery of bills and payment notifications through a secure, verified, and paperless digital channel.

Through the integration, customers of EtihadWE will now receive their bills directly in their personal WAYN
ID — a lifetime digital mailbox linked to UAE Pass, designed to provide residents with a trusted and private
