Dubai Government Human Resources Department Sees Strong
Participation In Inaugural Research Awards 2025
20 Submissions From 13 Government Entities Received To Date; Final Deadline Set For
August 8
The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has announced continued momentum in submissions for its
inaugural Research Awards 2025, launched earlier in February 2025. The initiative aims to enhance government workplace systems by
promoting scientific research, innovation, and evidence-based human resources policies aligned with future transformations in HR
management.
So far, the department has received 20 research papers from 13 Dubai government entities, demonstrating robust engagement across the
public sector. Notably, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) led with five submissions, followed by DGHR with three
entries. Other contributors include the Dubai Health Authority, Digital Dubai Authority, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA),
and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library.
Driving Institutional Excellence Through Research
His Excellency Abdulla Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR, praised the collaborative efforts between government and
academic institutions:
“The submissions we received reflect the strong spirit of collaboration and integration across sectors to enhance the government work
system. Through scientific research, we can drive innovation, improve performance, and align with Dubai’s future-focused vision. The
Research Awards are a critical platform to transform knowledge into actionable policies that promote employee well-being and institutional
excellence.”
