               3. Maximum Fine For Salik Violators

UAE motorists now face a hefty maximum fine of AED 10,000 per vehicle annually under the updated
terms and conditions of Dubai’s toll gate operator, Salik. This fine cap applies from January 1 to
               December 31 each year.

               4. Defective Salik Tags

Customers should report any defective tags within 90 days of identifying the problem. The tag will be
replaced without any additional fees upon verification. If a plate or vehicle is lost or stolen, notify Salik
immediately through the authorized communication channels to deactivate the associated Salik Tag.
Until notification is received, Salik will continue to deduct tolls and payments, including any fines or
               penalties, from the user’s account.

period of 5 years. Once inactive, any remaining balance in the account will be forfeited.
