Violators face maximum Dhs10,000 Salik fine in Dubai

Dubai motorists will face a revised maximum fine of Dhs10,000 per vehicle per year under the latest

updates from Salik, the city’s toll gate operator. This change sets a cap on the total fines that can be

incurred from Salik toll violations within a calendar year, spanning from January 1 to December 31.

Dubai Salik fines

According to the new guidelines, motorists can challenge a toll violation only if it has been recorded in

their traffic file within 13 months from the date the violation was issued. Additionally, the updated terms
