Student-Managed Fundraising Procedure
• Student/s arrange a meeting with the Head of Campus or Campus Site Coordinator to discuss the proposed
Fundraising Project with the Head of Campus.
• The HOC consults with the Campus Administrator and checks that it will not conflict with the projects of the
Global Funding Team and the Campus Trading Team.
• If the fundraiser is verbally approved by the HOC & CA, the following Smartsheet Webform link is completed
by the student/s;
OneSchool Student-Managed Fundraising Guidelines
• The student/s should then click on ‘send me a copy of my responses’ and forward the Webform submission to
the HOC who will formally approve the fundraising event on the Smartsheet.
• HOC will email the Smartsheet submission back to the students with the final approval.
Suggestions for External Community Help Fundraising Initiatives
RED NOSE DAY
• Red Nose Day, held annually on the last Friday in June, is the major fundraiser for SIDS (Sudden Infant Death
Syndrome) and Kids.
• Funds raised through Red Nose Day activities assist SIDS and Kids in providing vital services and programs to
the Australian community.
• SIDS and Kids is dedicated to researching and saving the lives of babies and children during pregnancy,
birth, infancy and childhood and to supporting bereaved families.
• It is especially important that student leaders from every campus organise a dedicated person to take
photographs of the service for uploading to the OneSchool website.
• The fundraiser to raise money for the cause is the sale of red noses, and other paraphernalia,
which can be worn on the day.

CANTEEN – BANDANNA DAY
• National Bandanna Day is CANTEEN’S largest fundraiser and is held normally in late October. The company
aims to raise $1.25 million to support young people living with cancer this year.
• Every year, another 23,000 young people (63 a day) have to deal with the challenge of cancer.
• Bandannas play a significant role as a symbol of hope and empowerment for people who are affected by
cancer and are worn during their cancer journey.
• This fundraiser involves students purchasing select bandannas to wear. All profits will go
towards this cancer foundation for teenagers.
