COP 28: Chasing the Impossible Dream

We've felled lush forests with no restrain,

Burned fossil fuels without a thought's constrain,

Do you harbor regret for this chain of disasters?
I wish to rewind time and break its disdain.

Within these halls, together we convene,
These blue oceans are surging, its warming unseen,

We assemble to answer the earth’s urgent plea,

Let’s rectify this, and protect what should have always been.

In COP 28’s solemn pledge,

We unite with aspirations soaring high,

We believe that we can do it,

Discovering solutions, creating innovations,

and harnessing our utmost knowledge.

COP 28, The Impossible Dream,

We'll make the unimaginable attainable,

Our precious Planet, we vow to protect,

We will not retreat, even when we face the extreme.

We believe in our power to achieve,

Overcoming obstacles, in us, we believe,

We won’t step back, we commit to make

This world is a beautiful place, it is our promise,

we’ll make sure to achieve.

With unwavering faith, we embrace the notion,

That we shall conquer all to fulfill this dream's devotion,

No retreat, we're resolute, we’ll craft at a steady pace,

For a brighter world- this is our solemn pledge, we’ll always embrace.
