The Rainy Night
The sky grows dark, the winds arise,
A hum murmurs on cloudy skies.
The scent of Earth, so rich, so deep.
Awakens the fields from summer sleep.
Drums of rain begin to play,
Tapping leaves in wild ballet.
Rivers swell with happy might
Dancing in the stormy night.
In every day, a story is spun,
of life reborn, of journey's run.
The monsoon sings, wild and kind,
A song of nature, unconfined
