               Feathered Star in Red, White and Blue 1895, guessing from the turkey red and the Prussian blue. Tacoma
               done antique show 1990. 67"x79" Fabric: Cotton. Batting: Cotton, light to medium. Backing: Muslin. Edge:
               Red silk ribbon, hand applied. Piecing: By hand. Quilting: By hand, 5-6 stitches per inch. In broader ar-
               eas, quilting is in sets of 2 parallel rows ¼" apart; each set of rows is l" from the next set. Within patterns,
               echoes and lines radiating from center to points of stars. Condition: Very good. The blue has faded, and the
               silk ribbon on the edge is splitting. Comment: Vendor purchased it from an estate in either or Tacoma or
               Portland, OR.
