Stars on Green No later than 1950s. eBay purchase 2013 from East Texas. 61"x86½". Fabric: Cotton. Batting:
Cotton. Backing: Muslin. Edge: The back is brought to the front 1" and stitched by machine. Piecing: By
machine. Quilting: By machine, in free-hand rows 4 inches apart. The seamstress threw her machine into
reverse a few inches at the end of every line that she whipped out. Condition: Top is in good physical
condition. Muslin back is water stained and spotted. Comment: This quilt pleases me irrationally.
