Thin cotton. Backing: Blue cotton. Edge: Tape machined to front and caught by hand in back. Piecing: By
machine. Quilting: By hand, 7 stitches per inch, around the stars, diagonal lines in sashing 1½" apart. Con-
dition: Very good. The turkey red background to one star shows abrasion on the highest surfaces. Comment:
I had looked at this in a mall and it sold out from under me, but it resurfaced at a show. The vendor said
that the original buyer found it didn’t match her house. Another purchaser was miffed that I offered on it
before she could.
