Nine Patch from Berks County, PA eBay purchase. 70"x70" Fabric: Cotton. Batting: Light cotton. Backing: Light
blue cotton in two pieces including a selvage. Piecing: By machine. Quilting: Within squares; chevrons in
pink sashes; borders, an 11-strand braid, 8 stitches/inch. Condition: Good. One checkered square in the
front has a dark brown stain; back has some dark brown streaks and spots. Comment: Quilting is extremely
well done. Chosen for its overall tranquil appearance.
