Philadelphia Pavement 1920s. Antique strore purchase late 80’s, early 90s. 80½"x81½" Fabric: Cotton, al-
though the black patched next to the pink square centers may contain other fiber that shreds. Batting: Light
cotton. Backing: Flannel cotton, gray with a pink strip. Edge: Black tape 1/4" to each side and caught by
hand on both. Piecing: By machine. Quilting: By hand within the seam lines of each patch, 7 stitches to
the inch. Condition: Good. The dark rectangles around the pink central squares are uniformly split. I have
overcast some with restoring fabric that can readily be removed for greater authenticity - but I believe
that the old gal who made the quilt would agree to repairs and restorations. Comment: Good for stunning
               graphics. Possibly Amish colors.
