One Thousand Pyramids Patches are 1900s blue, black and maroon. Back appears 1930s. eBay purchase 2013.
72"x79" Fabric: Cotton. Batting: Cotton, light to medium weight. Backing: Cotton print, pale blue with tiny
daisies. Edge: New tape, applied by hand. Piecing: By hand. Quilting: By hand, outlining inside each seam
line, 6 stitches to the inch. Condition: Except where fabrics had popped in specific blocks, the cotton is
solid. Overcast new patches cover popped fabrics in all the light-colored blocks and in four blocks along
an edge. Although I tried to color match new patches, the purple and white block is too large scale and is
distracting. I recommend re-restoring it. Worn out binding has been covered over with new machine tape.
