my mom had a
quilt like that
One Thousand Pyramids Almost a Charm Quilt 1900. Purchase from Berks County, PA. 80"x80" Fabric: Cotton.
Batting: Cotton, thin. Backing: Cotton print. Edge: Front is turned to a narrow edge on back and stitched
by hand. Piecing: By hand, although at least one triangle that is pieced by itself was machine stitched.
Quilting: By hand, just inside each seam line, 6-7 stitches per inch. Condition: Good. Exactly one triangle is
split. Comment: This quilt contains a few repeats of fabric in triangles, so is not quite a true charm quilt in
which each patch would be different. It is soft enough to have been washed. I restored the one split piece.
