Area IV TTA Service Project
This year, the Area IV conference supported the Holy Trinity - Blessings in a Backpack program as part of the
TTA National Service Project.
Holy Trinity helps feed 250 children at Marietta, Georgia schools over the weekends during the school year. These
children rely on free breakfast and lunch at school during the week, but might not have enough or any food on
weekends. In 2015-2016 school year, Holy Trinity packed over 8,300 bags of food.
We asked each chapter to bring backpacks filled with the following nutritious, child-friendly non-perishable items
to the Area IV Conference:
• Canned proteins (tuna or chicken)
• Packaged pastas (ramen, mac and cheese cups)
• Canned vegetables and fruit
• Canned soups and stews
• Boxed juice boxes and milk
• Healthy snacks (raisins, pretzels, granola bars, dried fruits and nuts, etc.)
• Boxed breakfast cereals (single serving)
• Cracker packs
