Greetings,

It is with much Energy, Enthusiasm, and Excitement that I invite you to Parliamen-Top 2018, September 27
through September 30, 2018, at the Suncoast Hotel and Casino in sunny and exciting Las Vegas, Nevada. Come
one, come all!!!!

At this P-Top, our focus is succession planning and equipping the membership with the tools needed to be suc-
cessful. We know that if members are not provided with the knowledge to function the "TLOD Way" that they
will function the way that they are accustomed. To that end, the "TLOD basics" of chapter operations will be
provided through a series of workshops beginning on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. and concluding on Friday at 11:00
a.m. These workshops will be beneficial to the new member, seasoned member, officers, committee chairmen,
current leader, future leader - everyone. In addition, they will be videoed so that each segment can be fashioned
into a 45 minute presentation to be used during chapter meetings, clusters, retreats - whenever. We encourage all
newly initiated members, officers and committee chairmen to attend. The TTA Advisor's Institute will still take
place but the Chapter Presidents are expected to attend the "Chapter Operations the TLOD Way - This Is How
We Do It!" series. Workshops and Institutes start on Thursday afternoon. Please see the agenda for the complete
schedule of events.

The Opening Session will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As usual, we will have special guests in attendance. Other
highlights of the conference are: informative business sessions, workshops, committee meetings, Soul Food Din-
ner, Bowling Tournament, Fun Night, Movie Night and, of course, GAMBLING! Fun Night will be on Friday
and we will continue the highly successful and entertaining TLOD's Got Talent. Please make your selections
when you register. The Celebration of Life Luncheon will focus on Diabetes. Please wear light blue business at-
tire.

For your travel and hotel information, the Casino is a 5-minute walk from Badlands Golf Club, 11 miles from the
Las Vegas Strip and 16 miles from McCarran International Airport. In addition to a 95,000 square foot casino,
amenities include an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a 24-hour fitness center, plus a salon and a spa, an arcade, a
movie theater and a bowling alley. Dining options include a steakhouse and an Italian restaurant, as well as several
casual eateries. There is a shuttle to and from the airport that departs every two hours. Please see the shuttle info
provided.

As always, I am excited about TLOD, and I am excited about seeing each of you in Vegas as we continue to In-
vest in our Communities with V.A.L.U.E.S. that Support Enhance and Sustain.
