In order for us to continue to move the organization forward, all members must know how their organization op-
erates. The Chapter Operations the TLOD Way Series of Workshops will provide basic information and guid-
ance regarding the following:
Duties and Responsibilities of Officers and Committee Chairmen
Parliamentary Procedures
Programs and Projects
Membership Recruitment/Reclamation/Retention – Intake, Induction, Chartering
Financial Procedures
All you need to know about Top Teens of America (starting your chapter, walks, debate team, spelling bee,
awards, bullying, momentum, scholarships, service hours)

National and Area Meetings (Parliamen-Top, Syn-Lod, Area Conferences and Clusters)

Awards Process
These workshops will be led by experienced leaders in TLOD as well as in the community. Not only will you
learn “how” we do what we do, but “why.”
These workshops will be categorized by subject, videotaped and edited into 45 minute segments to be used at
meetings, retreats, clusters, orientations, refreshers, etc., and placed on the website for easy access.
