Houston Chapter of TLOD is proud of its fourteen (14) newest members which increased the total num-
ber of ladies to one-hundred thirty four (134) amazing members! With retention at the forefront of our recom-
mendations, our members were careful to identify and recommend fourteen candidates possessing valuable quali-
ties and resources that will further extend our reach and service as the largest chapter in Top Ladies of Distinc-
tion, Inc.
During the orientation and briefing sessions, Lady Eva Johnson, membership chairperson and her amazing com-
mittee were goal-driven and focused on coordinating strategies and pre-induction activities for the candidates that
would provide real service delivery opportunities. The chapter was honored to have our National Area One Di-
rector, Lady Harnell Price Williams, preside over the ceremony assisted by Ladies Katherine Wilson, Mary Cathe-
rine Hamilton, Audrie Lawton, Margarite Williams, Dee Foley, Eva Johnson and Bobbie Wooten Moorehead.
Newly inducted members include: Ladies Denisha Ellis-Broussard, LaTosha McGill Clayton, Norvella Smith,
Thelma Woodard-Johnson, Faye Buffalo, Kimberly Carroll, Elaine Reed, Arnecia Romeo, Chandra Hummons,
Christine Turner, Delmarie Cole, Quiyon Thomas, Robette Carter, and Roshundra Patton-Dixon.
Humble Intercontinental Chapter volunteers at the University Christian Church post Hurricane
Harvey clean-up and food distribution to those in need with the help of Lady Barbara Smith, Chapter Presiden,
chapter member Lady Arvis Pettiway and chapter Top Teens.
