Area IV Jackson Chapter Top Ladies completed their
3rd and final Status of Women Back-To-Work work-
shop with the residents of the Dream Center.
Augusta Chapter hosted their Annual
“Distinguished Men Who Cook” fundraiser. This is the
36th year for this event and there were sixty-nine (69)
men from the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) that
volunteered to prepare their special cuisine. The event
was well attended with over three hundred (300) family
and friends. Our Ladies had three children to compete
for the Top Tot winner by raising funds. The winner
was Chase X. Stallings who raised the largest amount of
money. Our Top Teen winners were Teen Savannah
Danforth and Top Teen Czare Cancer. The funds
raised will help provide scholarships for our thirteen Seated L to R: Lady Mabel Teamer and Ms. Gail Gustoff (Director of the

Nashville Capital City Chapter Top La-
dies Literacy Committee donated 154 books to three
local Nashville schools under the leadership of Literacy
Chair, Lady Julie Hopkins. These books were donated
to Casa Azafran Early Learning Center, Glencliff Ele-
mentary and Warner Elementary.
Guilford County Chapter Top Ladies of Dis-
tinction and Top Teens of America celebrated Found-
ers’ Day with spouses, friends, and parents. The Chap-
ter was organized in December 1986. The organizer was
Rebecca V. Graves. There were thirteen chartered
members. The Chapter has remain faithful to the
founders’ visions of “Service to the Community” and a
“Strong Concern for Teens and Women”. The ladies
continue to dedicate their talents, skills and resources to
the organization in which the Chapter was char-
tered. The Top Ladies and Top Teens kicked off their
Founders’ Day with gift cards to be presented to a Teen
that lost his father and online donations to the UNCF
event sponsored by Bennett College. The Chapter con-
cluded their celebration with church service at Mount
Zion Baptist Church in Greensboro, followed by lunch
at Khalif Event Center on East Wendover Avenue.
